Thomas Shireman, MD

About

After attending the University of Missouri in Kansas City for medical school he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Oklahoma. He has been on faculty at the University of Oklahoma and later went into private practice in the Oklahoma City area in 1994. While in Oklahoma City, Dr. Shireman was the Chief of Staff at Midwest City Regional Medical Center. Dr. Shireman is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.

He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Shireman chose the medical profession because of his background in science and health issues. What he enjoys most in practice is helping patients.
